| Job Description | • Responsible for the overall coordination of plant operations including: a. Improving safety and environmental compliance. b. Maintaining product quality. c. Reducing costs, inventory and nonvalue added work. d. Improving plant operations and productivity. e. Training, supervising, leading and motivating all operation employees to meet and exceed operations KPI’s. f. Planning, scheduling and managing shutdowns g. Ensuring implementation and compliance of ISO quality system. h. Managing the review and updating of production related documents. i. Oversee day to day operations of the plant and measure performance on daily basis Implementing action plans post OpEX audits • Implement Industry 4.0 principles • Conduct job duties in a safe and environmentally sound manner • Maintain safety awareness through prompt implementation of safety related projects. • Ensure compliance with all government regulations. Maintain or improve safety, environmental compliance and security in all operations. • Identify and correct potential safety hazards, environmental issues and security problems. • Proactively managing of all inventory levels within the monthly MTPT targets • Focus on Lean implementation and automation to reduce Angel Metal direct labour cost • Identify and execute bankable savings opportunities in the direct and indirect labour spend |
