| Job Description | To manage, conduct and approve legal review of contracts and inquiries, and to timely share local legal updates to Co's Group to make sure all legal issues for Co's to run its business in Korea be controlled • 1. Review, negotiate and/or approve various contracts and documentations, including but not limited to various vendor contracts, inter-company agreements, insurance policy documents, investment management agreements, derivatives transaction agreements, reinsurance treaties, and marketing & PR materials (30%) • 2. Provide advice to all legal related matters arising from the business and operations of the company (30%) • 3. Support Corporate Secretary in holding ordinary and extraordinary general meetings of shareholder, prepare necessary documents and communicate with the group corporate secretarial team in preparation of the convocation of OGMS/EGMS, and adopt and/or amend AOI, internal policies, guidelines, TORs, and SOPs regarding corporate governance (15%) • 4. Monitor compliance with local laws/regulations and interact with various functions to ensure company-wide compliance (10%) • 5. Monitor and respond to relevant legislative movements, develop company positions on legislative matters in coordination with relevant stakeholders; regularly update the group with the latest legislative changes in Korea (5%) • 6. Allocate legal review cases to Law division staffs, manage the overall review process and approve review results (5%) • 7. Manage and make necessary communication with external counsels (5%) |

| Job Requirement | • Education: Law degree of LL.B. or J.D. or its equivalents, and license to practice law in Korea or one of the common law jurisdictions • Experience: At least 10+ years of PQE at a reputational law firm or a legal division of a multinational company, preferably finance services industry • Specific Business Knowledge: Good understanding of commercial law and finance service regulatory matters, preferably life insurance sectors • Fluency in English and Korean language skills, both written and spoken Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills • Possess business acumen • Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-moving setting - 정규직 |
