Job Description | Liaison between the Tokyo office & Seoul office Communicate any announcements and information on the company including the Seoul & Tokyo office. Provide area-specific input and feedback. Escalating matters as required. Assist with global initiatives by liaising with appropriate teams across the business. HR Employee Relations: 1:1 check-in meetings with employees, exit interviews, employee grievance system, organization of company events such as monthly townhall & off-site Compensation & Benefits: salary negotiation, salary survey of startups in Japan Organizational Culture Initiatives related to company core values HR policy management: review & revision, explanation for employees Finance Oversee and review the finance-related works (including but not limited to payments, and employee expense management) done by the JP finance team. Produce financial reports related to the JP business. Look into strengthening current internal control and process improvement related to the JP finance. Job Requirement | Travel Requirement Business trip to Seoul is necessary. Need to work at the Seoul office during the 3-month probation period (negotiable) Flexible working time: you can start your work whenever you want from 7 am to 11 am. Remote work for 2 days a week Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management / general administrative role. Speaking and writing fluency in Japanese Basic or intermediate-level of Korean Ability to prioritize and juggle many requests on a daily basis with detailed responsibilities, under tight deadlines Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with the company standards, practices, policies, procedures, and government regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and be a proactive self-starter with close attention to detail Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint essential Preferred Qualifications Business Level of English Experience in managing and leading people Experience working at multinational companies or startups |
