Job Description | • Involvement in developing a long-term strategic sales plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. • Recommends organizational structure for sales group, including sales managers and brokers as company continues to grow.. • Overall responsibility for net revenue. • Accountability for returns and allowances budget as well as trade advertising. • In charge of broker communication and motivation. • Communicate sales trends/results to management team through the use of reports and presentations. • Responsible for setting distribution targets and finding ways to achieve them in a cost effective manner. • Leads management of all broker metrics such as promotion activity, pricing, products, and tracking competitive activity. • Serves as key communicator for the company with the trade in assigned channels. |

Job Requirement | • Experience in strategic planning. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects. • Firm understanding and strong capabilities in the area of sales management. • Good understanding of the specialty food business. • Ability to lead sales management team in motivating and director brokers. • Comfortable setting measurable goals and managing towards them. • Ability to manage trade spending strategy and budget. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to thrive in a growing, changing multicultural environment. • Mastery of Microsoft skills in regards to PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel. • 5+ years experience in food industry, preferably some in the specialty food area. • BA degree |
